• Kiana Tutti Fruitti Dress [Collectif Loves Top Vintage]

More rainbows from me today, especially fitting for Pride month! šŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆ The Kiana Tutti Fruitti swing dress is an absolute dazzler from the latest Top Vintage collab with its vibrant rainbow stripes. I love how vivid and bright the stripes are as Iā€™m not much of a pastel kinda gal.

It has a beautiful sweetheart neckline to the top which is edged in a contrasting red band and the adjustable straps are red too. The straps can be worn multiple ways with hook fastenings concealed on the inside for various combinations including straight straps, crossed straps in front, crossed straps behind, completely strapless or as Iā€™ve worn it here, with the the straps from the centre chest which is a really pretty option.

It doesnā€™t come with the belt, I added the red one from another Collectif dress which worked really well as I prefer to have a clearly defined waist.

Thereā€™s also a fitted bodice to the top and gathered swing skirt to the bottom with lovely big pockets. The skirt is full enough to wear with a petticoat as I did here:

If youā€™re not much of a fan of petticoats, it also looks great without one too!

The length is well over my knee and fit wise itā€™s quite roomy on the bust and has stretch so youā€™ll be able to fit comfortably in it though you may want to size up if youā€™re really blessed up top as thereā€™s a centre back zip so you are limited with the amount of room you have for boobage. Unlike many of the Collectif dresses, the waistband also stretches so if youā€™re in between sizes youā€™ll be fine too.

The Kiana Tutti Fruitti is in stock in all sizes (6-22) for Ā£59 and this is one thatā€™s only available to buy online at Top Vintage or Collectif, or in Collectif stores –  you wonā€™t find it at stockists. I think of them as a limited edition range, so if you want it, you need to buy it when you see it as they donā€™t restock. I really love this cheeky little number – so much fun to wear with so many different ways to wear it, but such an elegant style too. Live your best colourful life! x

  • Lilla Swing Starfish Dress Review [Collectif]

As soon as I knew this dress was coming, I couldnā€™t wait to bag it! So the day it dropped on to the website, I bought it and it is just as good as it looks on the website, if not better!

This summery little number has the cutest bespoke, red starfish, print against a dark blue background which adds to its nautical feel.  Itā€™s such a clever design, with the full swing skirt to the bottom and a bikini top style which has scarf-like halter neck straps to tie at the back of the neck.

You might think there isnā€™t much support going on with this dress (which I was concerned about too) but itā€™s actually really supportive as the back of the dress is all joined together and features a centre back zip to get you in and out easily…..and how sweet are those starfish?!

A normal dress at the back with a zip

The top is quite small though. Very small chested girls will be fine with their normal size, but anyone with some boobage will likely need to size up. I bought it in two sizes to see which suited me best. Iā€™m a C cup and I couldnā€™t get the girls in my normal size, although the waist was perfect for the skirt. I donā€™t class myself as big chested, but when buying bikini tops I always have to size up twice to fit properly (and my normal size for the bottoms), so I had expected something similar for this style of dress. Iā€™ve kept the size up as my boobs feel much better and arenā€™t squished, just sitting pretty! The waist is bigger on the size up obviously, but thatā€™s not really an issue with the belt which cinches in – and thereā€™s always room for seaside treats now! haha. I may take it in a smidge at the sides which is easy to do a itā€™s hidden under the corners of the crop top.

The belt is a lovely wide style with circular buckle, in the same vibrant red as the starfish. I love how I can be matchy-matchy with my hair hehe.

As a woman in my 40s, I was a bit dubious about the cut out triangle below the bust. Questions like, ā€œam I too old for that?ā€ crossed my mind for a nano-second – then I realised, sod it! You only live once and you should wear what you love, regardless of age! So here I am, belly out and strutting it and loving it! ha.

    Feelinā€™ myself ha

Iā€™m so glad I bought it, and if you havenā€™t already, you really should! Itā€™s still in the sale (here) in all sizes, down to an amazing price of Ā£19.25 – what a steal! You wonā€™t regret it. Shoulders back, boobs forward and rock that look!
